Yards

Hello friends,

I know I've done something like this already but I'ma just make a new one. Well I'm looking for a Train Yard. Here's the standards that I'm looking for...
Yard Standards
•Has to be kinda modern
•Looking for a yard that is suitable for like commuter trains and maybe some freight
•Needs some depots
•Size kinda large to medium I guess
•Just really anything that one could use with like commuter trains and like Amtrak

Id do it myself but yards aren't really my thing. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where one could find such a yard.

Thank You, Susanaes.

Regular or extra funky? :hehe: Still have a copy of a 10 tile long 1 tile wide route I made for experimenting with AI traffic, 12 yard tracks about a mile long, double ended.

If I uploaded as a module it wouldn't be that hard to merge into your route, then change scenery and add or alter tracks as desired. It's oriented north/south, which might be a problem if you need an east west yard. For the Chicago Metro route I merged that "yardwork" layout in, then used the copy/paste to make the three big yards, altho I had to delete everything but the track so it wouldn't crash from memory overflow. Once I did that I was able to make two of the yards east/west by rotating the paste tool 90 degrees, and afterwards edited all three yards so they didn't look the same.

Well mine is not for Amtrak or commuter trains but I am making a 2 baseboard long hump yard with some industries.

Sniper sir, thank you very much for providing that yard to be freely used. It looks great (actually the first "realistic" yard I've seen, undoubtedly because of all the "static" cars.).
