I have Trainz Simulator 2010 Deluxe which I have done a little with, but never really got serious with.
My computer is dated and still waiting on the upgrade I wanted to do three years ago because of money.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ (2900 MHz) Dual core with only 4 gig of ram.
I have upgraded Windows Vista to Windows 10 Retail to prepare for the future upgrade (64 bit)
And I use a NVidia GeForce GT 640 video card.
So my system is currently very dated.
I see that 2006 is a very reasonable price, but should I spend the money on it when I already have 2010.
I mostly like to put together layouts and run like a model train, and not prototypical operation, though I like to have Ai trains running on my routes to give them a little life.
I do want to eventually move to TANE or Trainz Model Railroading, but they will have to wait until after the update, which is still a little way down the road. So as a less than full time user of 2010. Is there value in 2006 at this price point?
