working on a tram route...

yes the reskin was easy. you texture individual sides instead of one large texture. and if you want to reskin, there is an alpha in the tga file so you have to use tga tool. had a look and vicsig but can't find the routes on yarra tram website and i don't have photoshop so i can't do the dot matrix on the combino.
and you guessed it more shots..
(the industrial single track line continues all the way here as well)

this one is on the mountain loop
(i LOVE flexity berlin!!!!!!!!!!!)

if anyone wants to know how to use the ibertrainz catenary with 5.3 height trams lower the bracket arm or the spline about -0.40

I was going to download the Berlin tram but noticed there is no cab view which makes it a bit pointless at this stage. A while back I downloaded a great bendy tram elsewhere bit had no cab either. I do not that the tram is in ebryo stages so maybe the builder might do a cab as it negates things a bit?

thanks for the good comments but i am having trouble making an automatic session where trams keep "suiciding" where the sections keep getting pushed into itself for no apparent reason

I don't know if you could to a 3-car varient because the middle car on the 5-car is meant to be the same size as the 2nd or 4th car

see the middle with the pantograph how it's smaller than the ones on either side? On the D1 it is the size of the 2nd or 4th section with a pantograph

yes can see that. a lot of trams have this design like Sydney variotram the 30 meter flexity Berlin, flexity 2, sirio trams (like those in Athens) and the solarias tramino. also the middle is shorter because there wouldn't be room for an extra door it is also shortened to reduced the "swing" of the tram.

You could probly download the NF10 tram and the MN Bombardier from the DLS.

i just got TS2010, which means NF10 and mn bombardier (umm that's not a tram, its a subway train)!!!!!!!!!! looks like my route will be for TS2010 users only (maybe TS2009 i don't know)

track testing the overhead (motorman1066 i hope you don't mind i use the 6.4 over head poles and lowering it to 5.3 height, i just used attachment points to lower it like paulzmay did.)
