Working on a Route with a group?

I think you should take a step back from the mark a little yourself and think about exactly what I said...

Ok I put a few typo's in as was pointed out..

I was not bitching at him .. I only said its considered poor form.. when a person Hi-jacks a post..

did I insist that he remove his post no.. I could have, I could have even reported it to the MODS did I? no...

SO I think that you have got the bull by the wrong horn.. and need to rethink your above post..

If I could find enough time to help him I would DO you know how time I have put into creating for this forum.. since I only just joined like 6 months ago I have spent a good deal of that time creating.. not sitting back saying gimmie gimmie gimmie.. like I see so often on this forum...

People here create content in many ways.. some create it for themselves without the thought of posting it for everyone others think of only that others think of creating to and put a price on their work..

Each to their own.. I will not hold it against anyone who does however they feel like it..

I"m very approachable and will help if I can..

If anyone is interested, I am looking for someone that enjoys doing the scenery. I have created a 120mi long single track main with passing sidings, towns with industries and a central yard. All track is laid with miles posts and signals. It is fully operational, but it could use some scenery. David

Hi David, someone might read your post and reply privately. In the mean time, maybe start a new thread defining your route's location and time era so people can think what they have to offer and respond on your new route's thread. If it is within a day's drive of Brisbane I may have something in the historical side of things.

I am interested and have explored the locations that Targanon is doing therefore I respond here. Not sure if I have historical material that Targanon needs as everything he has shown suggests he has it all under control. I mentioned what I thought was a missing bit on the Port Of Brisbane route and it turns out he knew already so I would say Targanon has also done his research for the standard gauge south of Acacia Ridge.

Targanon, I assume very modern era thus long passing loops in the present locations and not the steam or early diesel era? My historical data is more suited to the early loco era eg 1950's onwards with the 40 / 43 / 44 / 442 / 45 / 48 class although I have a bit on the GM 42 class era as well. I have a 1950s steam timetable if required which supplies water and ash pit locations as well as the loop locations and their short lengths. Grades are pretty well the same as the present day apart from the new bit under Beaudesert Rd at Acacia Ridge.

Send Pm or email if you need historical material.

Cheers
Peter
