Working NYC Subway Routes?

Vern

Trainz Maverick
I've been playing around the last couple of days on some of the latest NYC Subway routes available for (Open)BVE and very good they are too, so now interested to see what Trainz has to offer.

Searching the forums I can see various references to WIP Subway routes including one with the ambitious aim of recreating the whole system. In my travels on the DLS I've also noticed the extensive range of subway related assets.

So I guess the $64k question is, can anyone spec me any finished NYC Subway routes which are of a reasonable standard and on the DLS? (KUID's appreciated). These also have to work in TS12.

I would be interested in that too, having grown up riding the New York Subways, and still enjoy riding on them when visiting the big apple.

I've been driving the "D" Train (having seen it last week watching Jason Statham in "Safe") in OpenBVE and the author has done a superb job with it. However, it would be nice to also sample the route or a similar one in Trainz where there can be a bit more scenery and other moving trains.

I have World of Subways 1 and 3 and they are pretty good.

I have all three WOS (plus the SF Bus/Tram one) but while the gameplay concept and graphics are excellent, they are all let down by dreadful physics of the rail vehicles.

Anyhow this thread doesn't seem to have elicited much response so I'll take that as no NYC Subway routes actually existing as yet, other than the WIP's (to which I wish the authors the very best), guess it's back to OpenBVE for that particular brand of train simming.
