Hi. Ok whenever I try to start trainz it crashes. I have updated my drivers and dont know whats wrong with it. I just spent my money on a game that doesnt even work on my computer and my computer meets the requirements. Are there any files I can download to make it work? Is there any way to make it work?

Make sure you have all your drivers updated to the latest versions, particularly the graphics card. try running TRS in DirectX mode rather than Open GL (in the preferences on the start screen) also try running the game at 1280x800 setting in the options as well.
If that still doesn't help add the line "intro=disable" to the trainzoptions file in your Auran/TRS folder.

the intro=disable disables the little video that plays before it starts. This can cause TRS not to load.

What kind of spec is the laptop (CPU/RAM/GPU and GPU memory) and what version of Trainz? Have you clicked "options" and selected "open GL" Or "Direct X" to see if it works in one of those modes? What version of Trainz?

I've got TS2009 on several laptops and I haven't encountered a single problem, except my netbook, which it hates. Most of all, those laptops run anything from XP, to Windows 7 X64
