No, you'll need to upgrade.

Your video card seems to be the black hole. On my PC I have a basic 1gb card (Nvidia GeForce 9400GT) and I still experience lags. I don't run 2012 (yet), but the rest of your specs would seem to be adequate.

Nope. I also have a Pentium D 2.8ghz, with Nvidia 8500GT. Much better card but it's a jerky slideshow even with all the settings at minimum so I would advise upgrading both CPU and video. And of course if you update the CPU you'll probably need a new motherboard as well, unless you can find a faster Pentium D that will work in the existing socket. When I have the money to build my own I generally buy motherboard - CPU combination deals so I don't have to think about compatibility, but we have a probable problem - Dell. From what I've heard the motherboard mounting they use is not industry standard, so we're probably looking at a new tower case for the new motherboard and CPU.

The cpu is below minimum specs unless it's a dual core and with minimum specs you couldn't watch milk curdle without lag.

Thanks

thanks for the quick replies, I hope to get a new video card for Christmas, and eventually up the processor to at least a 3.4ghz. :D (fingers Crossed)

You'll need a dual core/core duo cpu of about 3ghz to stand a chance. I binned my 3.4g cpu years ago, it couldn't cope.

Will the following work with TRS10 or TRS12

Dell VOstro 200
Win 7 Ultimate Edition 32bit
Service Pack 1

CPU Intel Prentium Dual CPU E2160
1.80 GHz 2 cores 2 threads

4.00 GB Ram

250 GB HD and lots of space left

Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce 5200 256 MB

If the video card isn't fast enough would a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 or 9500 at 256 or 512 work?

Thanks

The CPU is underpowered. Same for the graphics card. A 9500 would be a good start if your power supply can handle it, but it'll still stutter a lot.
