Wig Wags: BNSF50

These are some fine highly detailed and well done assets. But, I don't know how to hook them to a crossing. They have a red line running thru them which I assumed were invisible track, but that can't be right, because when I attached a track to them, the signal was in the middle of the track. I don't think the signal maintainer dept. would appreciate having to go out and replace a signal everytime a train went thru.:hehe:
Also, I noticed that they are not pre-connected to a crossing ramp like all the other signals. So, my question is. how do I hook these beauties up so they work when a train goes by?

Unfortunately, all the wig wags are 'NRC.' which means a lot of work. Why can't people just stick to the KISS principle? I have no idea what else to download, and tutorials just don't do me any good. I've been playing with G-max for several years, and have made absolutely no process at all. Guess I'll just stick them on backroad crossings and pretend they work.

I just took a look thru the DLS and found quite a few different Wig Wags by BNSF50 that are now NRC/ATLS.
Such as:

KUID:39134:101170
KUID:39134:101199
