I've been using the same favorites link for ages but today I got a blank screen.
I eventually accessed it from the link on the 2009 website.

I'd like to be able to take credit for this, but...

the address may have nothing to do with it. For some time now, the forum has been unpredictable as far as page loading goes. It's slow, and sometimes will not load at all.

My experience only.

Sorry but this thread confuses me! I have been using the same link from favorites since signing up as a member and have never had trouble finding the forum by using it?

I have TRS2004 and usually access the DLS from the Download station which is handy to check/download content while reading the forum. Somebody changed the forum address and I had to access from the Auran website. :n:

The question is: How do I change the address to access the forum from the download station?

You don't, only Auran can do that. Say the link to this forum as a favorite or bookmark or whatever you call it, then you'll always have easy access to it..

Hmmmm... I'm sure that the address on this forum has been in use since the great crash... In fact, I know it has. I haven't had to update my bookmark in ages. What I'm going to guess has happened is a redirect page has been lost somewhere along the way.

No not at all. Problems abound still.

If you try & get to the forum off the TRS2004 black-rectangle selection screen ( fire up TRSD2004 & you get this screen), you as of last night & still at this instant, get a white screen.

I do not want to go to the TS2009 place, I want to download from the DLS & get to the forums through my installed Auran software.

The question then begs, why has this been changed, without first thorough testing, & preventing many thousands of members access to the forums?.

Why were the members not informed by email from Auran of this change, & how are we supposed to fiddle with programming at our end to fix our Auran Trainz installations, so they can link once again to the forums?.

Major booboo yet again.:'(

Sorry for my late reply, yes it works fine now.
For me, the 'forums' link via the black TRS2004 start-up access panel just gave a white web-page before. All sweet now.

I had no trouble with links to/from DLS/forums etc, once there.
just the one above via TRS2004 startup pane.
