hello, all. chris here.

i just downloaded "BR (WR) Main Line Updated (TS12)" (<kuid2:370074:100093:1>) by dickturpin and noticed a set of white lines, indicating a missing spline. upon further investigation, i found this:

Unknown Location: <kuid:523:1297>
Unknown Location: <kuid:67906:37053>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:102657:39000:127>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:116296:16103:127>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:116296:16115:127>

i cannot find these anywhere, and before anyone asks, i looked on Trainz KUID Index (great site by the way) with no luck. does anyone know where i can find these?

TS09_001_Autumn,<kuid:523:1297> ---- A built-in TS09 texture.

<kuid:67906:37053> ???? ---- can't find it!

Sports facility block,<kuid2:102657:39000:127> ----- should be on the DLS

sign halt at junction,<kuid2:116296:16103:127> ---- should be on the DLS

sign bus stop,<kuid2:116296:16115:127> ---- should be on the DLS.

A white line indicates a missing or faulty spline object such as grass, roads, or even track. These items are not splines at all so check that you don't have any faulty items, or perhaps open for edit as that can cause this issue as well as missing assets.

<kuid:523:1297> is unrecognized by TS12.
<kuid2:102657:39000:127> is an error. it should be <kuid2:102657:39000:1>
<kuid2:116296:16103:127> is also an error. it should again be <kuid2:116296:16103:1>
<kuid2:116296:16115:127> is, again, an error. should be <kuid2:116296:16115:1>
<kuid:67906:37053> is a mystery. 67906....whose ID is that? that has to be the spline.

Thanks, John. i will try and find a kuid that bears resemblance, as the others are errors.

EDIT: that asset is apparently payware by snowsignal, included in his UK Signal Pack, needed for "Midshire Mainline" by nexusdj. it was removed in updates of the route. there was a thread on what looks like an early version of these Forums here that explains a situation about missing KUIDs for the route.

<kuid:67906:37053> is Signal Gantry 1 by snowsignal. It is indeed part of his no longer available UK Signal Pack, which used to be on the now-closed Railwaves site.

Have a look on the DLS for the texture as it's likely that N3V uploaded it as part of the pre-TS12 built-in content set.

To repair a faulty spline follow this TUT

I use it every day...some splines (Bridge or Track) that just show a warring do not show on route.
Some have no errors indicated in CM and don't show. You find out when you try to place them.
Most faulty "Bridge" splines need a mesh table.
Faulty "Track" require a mesh table and a Track tag coped from tut .
Please read the complete tut before repair.

shane: i haven't been able to find any KUID bearing resemblance. Google gives me technical non-TS09 crap, and the DLS shows nothing with that name.

also, sorry for being clueless.

Shane, i decided to delete the gantries and proceeded to put regular signals there. that elusive texture, though....

Hi Chris,

Not so fast. The author has used the :127 which has made upgrading an updating these assets impossible. I searched copied these from the Content Manager I have on my Trainz PC.

The 523: texture is in fact an Auran asset. Perhaps it's included with TS2009 and because you don't have that, you don't have the texture.

Good luck and I'm sorry you had to go through the work with the gantry. Being a payware item may explain why I don't have it.
