White effect (problem) in all objects in Trainz

Hello,
I have problem with 3ds max and Trainz. When I export it, in the game, there is white effect, which is depends of the side of the sun and is so ugly this - please, check the roof (Image 1)

Before, was OK, and whatever side I'm - no effect, please, check the roof (Image 2)

Any idea how to remove this effect in all materials or in 3ds max in general?

G'day,

This is a specular effect. It can probably be adjusted in the material or mesh settings. I have not used 3DS Max so I cannot provide more detailed instructions.

Try ambient and diffuse pure white and Specular black with a specular level of 32, then tweak from that.
 
I thought this had something to do with alpha channel because I have this on a bunch of ground textures which look fine accept when the sun is behind them.

For ground textures, that is correct. It is in the specular settings for meshes, though.

i have the same problem. I don`t find a solution yet. The only way is to reduce the "white balace" for all materials when you create the 3d model.

yes it's OK when I'm choose black color for material in Specular. (using 3ds max 2009)

I just wondering, before I never touch this section - now, I have to ... weird :D

For example, now it's too dark. You can check this image. From left side is the wagon which I made it before 1 year ago, when 3ds max was not weird. Now on right side, is the wagon with this Specular (with black color) and it's sooo dark:

If I use not black color for Specular, the shine shows again :(

Use white color for Ambient and black for Specular. Your model will be not so dark. But it will become bright only in NewEra.
