White Dashed Lines-What Asset Is Missing?

The white dashed lines appears to indicate a missing object or track spline. In one specific case I can move the spline points with the track move selection. If I look at the track properties it simply says missing spline. This is not a track but it is a road. The expected track appears properly. No roads appear and the path of the dashed lines show that they are representing a missing road. None of the object spline functions recognize the spline points.

So, I am left with an unidentifiable missing spline.

I know the questions have been asked before about this but I am not clear about any possible method of identifying the spline. Ideally if the program could identify it then I could do a simple replace and all the dashed lines would resolve to their real state. I just cannot find a way to ID the dashed lines?

One other note: I am not interested in this particular route. It is a throwaway. Just a general question on a process to ID these lines.

I haven't tried this but perhaps you can use the "Show kuids" option for Surveyor. Alternatively, see what dependencies are missing/broken for that route.

In any case, you may see "track" used with roads for automobiles. As you might guess, it can coincide with other splines and/or track. You'll even find track (usually invisible track) use to get boats and planes to move. Odds are good that's what's missing.

I found many assets missing. Could not get them all today. Auran shut off my 1st class downloads at 100mb.

Identifying the missing asset should be easy for Auran. But for some reason they just put up a symbol. Will see what happens tomorrow. Not a super big deal but just fishing for that universal fix

sorry but a fct does not have a limit on downloading..

It is a nuisance when this happens. They appeared on a large route I am building and made me groan. I had to get rid of them (after being told how!) even though I couldn't find all th reasons for them apart from one obvious item and those were embankments. Meant I had to painstakingly put them back over scores of miles of track. Took days.
