Which site should I use?

Well, I want to have a site to post my routes onto, and I'm wondering about what site I should use.

What I mean is, open up a site, so which site do you recommend?

What I mean is something like freewebs or whatever...

I'd vote for the DLS any day, perhaps with a copy to Trainz Pro Routes...

If it's a big route, you may need to speak to Auran before you upload.

I agree with Paul.
Starting your own site isn't easy. There are sites that offer more than places like freewebs. But it pays to know a lot of things, better off to take some kind of class about setting up a website or reading a How-To book of some kind. Until then, you have DLS and TPR's Download Depot (might be others) so use them until you have the skills needed.
I wanted to start a site for writing and pictures. First thing I did was use a search engine and typed in something like, "free website service" there are a lot of places then you have to do comparisons for what you want. Hosting routes will take up your free site MB space quickly depending on route size.

There's some general introductory advice on setting up a web site here:

The only skills required for a creating simple site are a basic knowledge of HTML and how to operate an FTP program to upload files. Most of the web hosting companies make at least one server-based CMS (Content Management System) available should you wish to use it.

If you have an Internet Service Provider they usually have an option for a web site say up to 50 megs. Regarding making a web site it is very easy. Try SeaMonkey which is free and based on Mozilla open source I think? Like Firefox browser. http://www.seamonkey-project.org/ Make yourself some linked webpages and put them into a folder/directory first and use it on your own computer then when you have some online webspace upload to isp using ftp transfer program.
