Which would be the correct colour-light signal to use on a route partially converted from BR (I think) to London Transport in 1939?
The signals were updated, but the change to LT never happened.
This is the Northern Heights branch of the ECML. It was planned to add it to the LT Northern Line, and a lot of work was done up to 1939, but the whole plan was dropped because of WW2.
I have books but can't make out the signals in the old photos.
Thanks,
Mick.
You probably already know of these sites but it's the best I can do to help you. In truth I knew nothing about this bit of line until you mentioned it.
I think you need some kind of 2-aspect automatic signal. The only ones I could find are NSW 2Asp Auto by natvander, which seem reasonably similar to LU in style.
I guess there may be other types out there somewhere.
