Where have all the cars gone?

You guys are going to think I'm silly, but WHERE have the cars gone? All my routes used to have cars and now don't. Did I do something to cause this?
What can I do to change this? Any ideas??

Check that you are not using the default region in the environment section of the route editor. This is found under the file menu where it says edit route.

Thanks for your reply John. To answer your statement, I am NOT using the default region. All vehicles have disappeared from the roads. I have no idea!!!!

Interesting, and I don't have an idea either...

Have you tried changing to another region, just pick one, and then adding the same one back in again.

The only other thought is there has been an update that is now missing a dependency or something is broken. Check for both in Content Manager. If not, try the above and see if that works.

One trick - but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK - is to open the route for edit and change the tag, HOLDCARZ to 0. Needless to say, back up your route first, and, perhaps, wait til it's finished before making any config changes.

Check what Region you're using, then check it in CM to make sure none of its assets are faulty. Make sure your "Display Cars" option under the edit route options is ENABLED. The easiest thing to do too is to switch Regions a few times. I have had a region stop working mysteriously, and then have it come back after doing this. Don't ask me why, but it worked.
