Where are trainz 12 download files ?

Hi all,

Last night I bought the digital download of Trainz 12. I managed to download the first four setup files
but when I return later unable to loacate the URL that holds the last two -Setup 3A.bin and Setup.exe Where
are they located very anxious to start this good-looking simulation. Thank you - Robert

Planet Auran, use the link at the top of the forum, may ask you log in, normal username and password, on the left side of the page click the Order History Link, then the Invoice relating to your Order, download links and serial number are at the bottom of the page. They stay there for ever by the way, no time limit.

Thanks but half the time Auran accepts my new password, half the time it doesn't, searching but haver not come across Order History. Anuthing I am sent to does not accept the password Auran gave. Frustration just need thoe two last files.

Should be using the same username and password you are using on these forums for your access to your Planet Auran account, that is the username you used to purchase TS12 and the password you set up then.

Not sure if this will work https://www.auran.com/planetauran/Order_History.php use the forum login.

When I go there and enter my username and password, it then says failed... you need to register. When I go through all the regustaron process I
am rejected. "That name and paswword are already used." Of course, by me ! Previous;y. Two days now of total frustration, just needing those last
two files. Thank you for your patience.

You'll probably have to open a helpdesk ticket here: http://support.auran.com/
but as you have to sign in with your username and password, I'm not sure if that's going to work for you! Good luck, and welcome to Trainz!

Robert847: All the files should be in the same place - at least with mine they were anyway. As detailed above, click Planet Auran, then Order History, then the invoice number (which should have Digital goods only next to it), then you will access the required page.

As a note - if you get a FTP password prompt, your FTP details can be found by clicking FTP Details on the left of that page).

Robert847, what browser are you using to access the pages? Suggest trying a different one as there were problems with one of them a while back, links are all there and working, leastwise I started and then cancelled the downloads, that's in Firefox. Although I notice there seems to be a long delay before the pages are loading on a couple of the links, could be the browsers timing out? Or maybe clear out any N3V related cookies and temp files. Some have just had a Firefox update, maybe that's messed something up in the settings?

Ftp password is actually the first part of the download link and same as that given in ftp details, so you shouldn't need that for downloading from order history.

My setup is Windows XP using Explorer 9 in a HP dv6 Quad Core. Will keep trying. Yes, I filled out a ticket as was told "very busy" wiill hear from
them in a few days. What is so frustrating, I clearly remember being at a page showing all downloadable files for TS 12. If I had only stayed with
it and finished, and not left. Now, no matter where I go I am thrown into a circular "you must registar...that name Robert847 and password has already been assigned."
I will check out you page. Thanks to everyone for your input.

Whatever you do don't change any passwords or request a new one though as the mail server is on the blink and not all notifications are getting through, it is currently under investigation, may even be related to your problem in some way.
Hopefully one of our two customer service reps may pick your problem up from the forum, plus as a new customer I would think you would be a higher priority on the help desk.

That is exactly what happened. For some reason I received a prompt to change my password and did so before I finished downloadloading the last two files. Not even sure why it prompted for the change. But, yes, password was changed during the downloads. Just need setup 3A.bin and setup .exe. Already have the first four big ones. Kicking myself for not copying the url of the page that had all the files lined up, beautifully, waiting to be downloaded now cannot get back to Oz !

That will make things a bit stickier, as the downloading FTP details (via Planet Auran) will have changed.

Are you able to provide a screenshot if you haven't already (you can use PrintScreen to take it, then upload it to somewhere like ImageShack or Photobucket, then copy the sharing link into a post.
