Where are all the commands gone?

I tried to make a little automatic session on the "Detroit Connecting Railroad" to experimente with the new layer feature in 2010.

All works perfectly as long as the session runs on my PC... but when I tried to make a CDP and sending the session to a friend of mine, the session did not work: apparently, all the driver commands I used are not listed as dependencies of the session: only the cars, locomotives and trackmarks are listed. In 2006, I remember driver commands were listed as dependencies of the session, and I never had trouble with them. Are they now stored somewhere else???

The failure to list commands happens both on his PC (after he has loaded the session CDP) and on my PC as well. On my friend's PC, the session is useless, as the locomotive stands idle with no orders in the order bar.

Can anybody kindly explain to me the reason for this strange behavior? Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

I complained of this a while back. CM2 only list the rolling stock as depedencies of a session. You don't get a missing dependency for rules or drivers. Very strange.

I would make two CDP's, one of the route and then make one of all the dependencies. View the dependencies of the route, view in the main window, select all and make a CDP of this. I have found this works for me.

That seems worthy of a bug report to me. Older sessions (TS2009 and under) do include driver commands as dependencies but TS2010 sessions do not.

Could be related to my problem. TS10 with S&C works fine and all the driver commands are there. Yet when I imported all my content in and then ran the sessions the driver commands are gone yet theres no missing dependecies or errors... so I have no idea how to fix it :(

I could also use this procedure... but CM3.2 does not list driver commands as dependencies of the session (they are not in the route dependencies, nor they should be).

Here you can see the session at start: red arrows indicate non-default commands.

And here we have the list of the session dependencies: as you can see there is nothing except the locomotive, the cars and the trackmark and triggers.

Finally, I tried to see what are the dependant assets of the "Set DCC throttle" command: as you can see, four sessions are listed, but all of them were imported from 2006 or 2009. I am beginning to think this is a bug (and a quite serious one).

Has this possible bug already been reported to Auran?

My problem was something like yours: Saving a session, and moving it to another computer with same or better specs, and nothing, session will crash. Reported to Auran and after several attempts.. nothing, still happens. I think that there is something with a bug on this business of saving sessions, as at one time or another somebody reports different problems.
