When you 1st start a session window pops up with Chuck And Joe This is your Dispatcher. It gives you detail on what you have to do how do you bring it up when you are in a session. After you read it and scroll down hit check mark it gone and i can't find a way to pull it back up. Hard for me to Remember everything would like to pull it back up for Reference.

Thanks

Chuck and Joe -/- Charlie and Harry

If the session starts with something like:

"Chuck and Joe (or for UK sessions, Charlie and Harry), this is the Dispatcher" then it probably one of my sessions. Correct?

If so, there is no way that you can get those instructions back once in the game. What you can do, however, is print the instructions out beforehand.

  • Fire up CMP.
  • Find and highlight the session in the main pane.
  • Right mouse click and select "View Config File" (at the very bottom).
  • Copy and paste the instructions under "Description" into eg notepad, and print it out.

Tell me if this helps.

I don't think he's talking about the ones with the short message in the description window, pretty sure he means the ones with the popup driver instructions.

Start session, scroll down and click the check mark to close that window.

Hit F5 to get all the overlay windows back up, lower right corner of the F7 window is the button that brings back the instruction popup.

Jim --

I think that you will find that F5 / F7 toggle only applies when some smart Alec (in the particular case above, an Auran staffer when PO&N came built-in) writes one of those new-fanged HTML files that a senile old codger like me just can't be bothered setting up.
_____

On PO&N we now don't believe in HTML luxuries and expect our locomotive engineers to do it the hard way - memorise it all or ship out to another outfit.

Cripes, I can't even memorize which is the throttle and which is the brakes, but if I deliver the wrong cars to the wrong places a senile old codger like you wouldn't notice anyway. :p
