What's the best Trainz to get?

I understand, that would be a blessing for me as well, but it is correct that TC is still backwards compatible with UTC, TRS04 and TRS06 content? Just like I could use almost all stuff I downloaded from UTC in TRS04?

If so then I really don't understand why people don't use the latest Trainz build and load all their needed content into TC...

Many TRS04 users are a bit "conservative" and don't have the guts to migrate from a typewriter to a word processor.

A lot of TRS2004 and earlier items have errors in them. TRS2004 sort of trys to make it work anyway, TC is less forgiving. A fair few of the errors have been corrected these days and standards for newer content ore better.

I use TC, but I understand why some prefer TRS04. Being abusive isn't going to persuade anyone.

Of course you are entitled to your own opinion.

I will be clear though that I have no plans whatsoever to convince any 04 user to switch to a later version. That is their decision, an inadvisable one, but still their decision to make.
