Surveyor Classic in TRS22 – Missing Core Tools

Hi everyone,

I've been running into a frustrating set of issues with Surveyor Classic in TRS22 and wanted to see if anyone else has encountered the same problems. Several core tools that I rely on appear to be completely missing from the interface, and it's making route editing very difficult.

First, Spline Mode is nowhere to be found. I simply cannot access it through any of the menus or toolbar areas where it should normally appear. Along with that, the Pick Tool is also missing entirely. These are both pretty fundamental tools for any kind of serious route work, so their absence is hard to work around.

On top of that, the spline editing icons that normally appear when working with track and other spline objects are gone as well. I'm used to seeing the full set of handles and control icons when selecting and manipulating splines, but none of them show up. It's as though the entire spline editing UI has been stripped out.

I've also noticed that the Advanced Tools options are either missing or greyed out. It looks like Surveyor Classic is stuck in Simple Mode, and I can't find any way to switch it over to Advanced Mode. There doesn't seem to be a toggle or setting for it anywhere that I can locate. Without Advanced Mode, a good portion of the editing capability just isn't available.

The practical consequence of all this is that I'm unable to delete Legacy Water from my routes. That particular task requires tools that simply aren't present in the current state of the interface. It's a real roadblock for cleaning up and updating older routes.

Has anyone else run into this with TRS22? Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a fix or a workaround that I'm not aware of? Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. Build:132316
