What to do about obsolete tags?

I've downloaded some of Prowler901's excellent stuff as CDP files. When I import them into TS2009 using CM, I get a bunch of obsolete tag errors. For example:

Error: Tag 'boiler-to-piston-flow' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.
Error: Tag 'firebox-to-boiler-heat-flow' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.
Error: Tag 'firebox-to-boiler-heat-flow-idle' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.
Error: Tag 'firebox-volume' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.
Error: Tag 'main-reservoir-volume' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.
Error: Tag 'max-fire-coal-mass' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.
Error: Tag 'piston-to-atmosphere-flow' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.
Error: Tag 'westinghouse-volume' in the container 'steam' is obsolete.

What do I need to do to get the asset(a K-27 in this case) working?

As the errors and warnings window says, they're obsolete. Open the kuid for Edit - Edit in Explorer and delete them, then save and commit. For other problems with the K-27, post the kuid of the loco and we'll help.

Some additional information. The way steam engine work in TC3, TS2009, TS2010 has been changed from earlier versions. This means that these engines need a upgraded engine specifications config file. Simply removing the obsolete tags in the config will get rid of the faulty reports but will not make your engine run correctly. There is a tutorial by Paul Hobbs available which explains how to change a pre-TC3 locomotive to a post-TC3 locomotive. (I'll post a link to it wehn I have found it again ).
