Here's what I got when I opened CMP today for the first time:




Dollar Signs? Does that mean I have to fork over some cash to acquire these assets?

Correct. The items with dollar signs are payware DLC assets which can be bought either through Simulator Central or in-game. However, if it's doing it with all assets, run an extended database repair.

Yes, everything listed as installed on Friday, April 04, 2014 1:40 AM is marked as pay ware. Hope this is not the mark of future.

Thanks Dave. When I was looking in the TS12/bin/CMPData/status folder recently, I saw the DOLLAR SIGN (6.bmp) in the list of icons and wondered what it was. Now what is the 7.bmp icon for? (I wanted to paste an image of my screenshot of the above folder, but when I use the Insert Image, it asks for an URL and not a PC folder.)

If I had to guess it would be 'Missing DLC dependancy'

The dollar sign is not new, it is on all DLC content since as long as CMP has been out (I think)

There are also CM 3.8 assets showing up which are also payware. Since TS12 SP1HF4 cannot handle them I wonder if they are for the new Mac version.
