Far Cry 2! I know it's not out but it's widely known by videos on Gametrailers.
Far Cry the original one for the PC has trains in fan made multiplayer maps and there is 1 single-player map made by a Russian which includes a flat car you can ride.
Oh yeah and there's Trainz!

Monopoly Tycoon
Hidden and Dangerous
GTA 1,2,3,SA, and IV
GTA IV has NYC Subway cars!!!!!!!!!!!
Kingdom Hearts 2:Tram you can ride in the beginning.
Mafia 2: Their bringing back the EL.
The Sims 2 Freetime has a train layout.
Sherlock Holmes and the Silver Earring: Never finished but there was a train in it.
Journey to the Center of the Earth: I LOVED this game. There was a hand car powered by some type of dino and a mono rail like thing in town. I believe there were also trains somewhere else but I forget.
Nancy Drew and the Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon took place All on board a train.
And that is all I can think of.
P.S. I think I am going to check out the train edition of Final Fantasy now. ^.^

How about the puzzle game "Syberia" by Microids? Theres a really neat clockwork train that is involved in about 90% of the story. That would be neat in Trainz.
There are also many CS custom maps with trains in them. I can never remember the exact names, but offhand I can think of a a Russian one, a Dutch one, an American western one where you can drive a steam engine a short distance, plus a rapid-transit one with a bomb site down on the tracks. You have to be careful because a train can show up while you're planting or defusing, and if it does you're toast.

Turning Point. (This one has a pretty detailed and accurate series of cars and subway trains you see.)
One of the Medal of Honor games has a really nicely detailed armored german train.

anyone mention the n64 game vigilante 8:second offense, there is a level that is based in a steel factory, and there is a train that i think is up,and if you destroy a bridge it derails.

I almost forgot 2 games that I have rented that included trains.
Disaster Report starts on a train on a bridge during an earthquake!
Brother in Arms has a train in it I believe.
about Nancy Drew. Yes you got off the train at the end but then you get on a mine cart. So all except for probably 20 minutes is on a train.

sims for gamecube has a train layout, a big and a small,but i accidentaly put it the wrong way so it faced the wall and its like 4700$ so i wasted all that money.

The Outfit- Not much track but you can drive 3 normal steam, two german armored trains and for the last level a bigg cannon on a flat truck.
Thats true, a mine cart is a form of train!
Only 20 minute through Jakes mine!!!! I took me 2 %%$^ hours figuring out which boards to remove in which order. I've owned it for more then a year now and it still takes me about 45 minutes to get through jakes mine.
Also, you do have to get off the train in copper gorge, you get back on the train a few times but thats another stop.

Lol I uh Know a certain person who always seems to have walkthroughs on him. So when I get stuck I cheat! :hehe: I estimated 20 for jakes mine but for copper gorge... About 40 to 50 more making the final total about an Hour off the train.
Right, well I'm a non-Yonk Yank and don't bother searching for old posts. I will add Adventure Games's Murder On The Orient Express.
