Not sure if anyone has said it but

The Titfield Thunderbolt (Its not a porno. A lot of my friends think it is though due to the name)

Does anyone remember "Union Pacific"? Not the famous Cecil B DeMille film, but an obscure ancient television series. It was shown on BBC children's television in Britain during the late 1950's or early 1960's and was a sort of western, centered on the crew building the trans-continental railroad.
-------------
Trivia note: if you look at the carriages in the train crash shown at the start of each episode of the original 1960's series of The Fugitive you'll see the wording "Chemin De Fer". Apparently the only footage the production company could easily obtain was of a French train crash.

Mr.Bean Holiday had a commuter train and a toy train:hehe:
News 4 on CO. had a special with it on the beginning
*wonders what Mr.Bean would do if he had a train...*

Breakheart Pass, with Charles Bronson, was a western that took place mostly on a train crossing a mountain pass.
I don't remember the Cannonball appearing much in Green Acres, although it was featured heavily in Petticoat Junction. Sierra Railway #4. Fine Engine.
The train station out by Drucker's store was also the Tucson station in another movie.
Speaking of movies, The Harvey Girls was about the Harvey House restaurants on the Santa Fe line. Great music.
Some Like It Hot (Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe) had some great train scenes. Then they went to the Hotel Del Coronado, across the bay from San Diego.
