What happened?

So I was making some edits to a route I installed on the DLS. When I finished, I saved and went to drive. When driver opened, all the edits I had made and a ton of track were missing. Can someone explain what happened?

You renamed the route before saving it, and if you didn't it was yours to modify or you have the relavent permissions. Peter

Could it be a classic case of confusion between editing a session and editing a route?

Either that, or there's a bunch of deps missing, which would be easy to solve if all of said deps were on the DLS.

What does Content Manager say about the route and its session (or sessions - another cause of confusion)?

You alter a route and save as a new name or download a route and do alterations then save it with your kuid. If the save is done before you enter driver mode the route you find yourself in will still be the original route. You need to exit and open the new route to see the work done. If you alter a route that is yours and then save and overwrite the original you will still have the alterations when you go to driver.
