What does this mean???

I'm slowly loosing it.
I just went through a total re-install of TRS2006 SP1, starting from scratch (because CMP kept going non-responsive and could not be brought to work).
I imported the route I'm working on from cdp. Now a whole bunch of assets that wasn't faulty before show faulty, and assets that I don't even have in the route is on the "missing list".
AND I get this message when loading the route and session in surveyor:

dumpmess1.jpg

I never had this message before, nor did I have any other problems with the route. Now everything is a mess, and I don't even know what this message means (except trouble).

Somebody please???

That happens with some locomotives that I have downloaded, but they work fine. I don't know what it means though, might want to do a google on it.

Hi jytte, I have had this screen before when I had not set up and industry the right way. It was something like I set up an industry to load something, however I set my consist to go there and "unload". Apart from that I am not sure.

As to your other problem I am really not sure. I thought I would mention though that all my "error free" content is stored in Archive files. I have had to reload my content after a reinstall and every thing was fine. This can become a slow job but it has worked. If you are like me with a lot of content, then only make your archive files no more then (if possible) 500MB as this then means the files take more time to load. I have my files set up like textures, residential, commercial etc. There are good and bad points about this, but it works well.

Hope this helps,

Craig

This is why I still love TRS2004, and it seems to get better every year. :hehe:

Smiley.

P.S. I know that the script error shown by the original poster can happen in TRS2004.

Hello Craig, thanks for the tip.

I was just thinking about this myself. Saving all my own assets and routes to cdp is NOT enough. I just had to search for well over 200 missing assets, painstakingly finding and downloading them one by one, and THAT took a lot longer than importing any size archive!

Normally I could have just copied my backup of "local" back in, but since the whole affair was such a mess (that's why I had to re-install), I opted not to do so.

I've been using archive for routes I wanted to move to a different computer, but now I will make an archive for each of ALL the routes and test-boards I make, thus saving the dependencies as well.

In the meantime I got rid of the error message. Turns out I had a missing asset in the session, that I had missed. Would be nice though if those error messages were in plain english, like "you have an asset missing" or something.
