More or less what it says. When you create a new scrapbook item it is automatically given a life span of five days and after that period has expired is deleted by Trainz. As most scrapbook items you use will be temporary in nature that makes sense. You can decide however to keep it by "pinning" it. When you do that the scrapbook item is permanent.
