Drat it lost me "What he said' checkoffs from page 1!
I got two main VLC playlists, 73 hours of mixed genres of country and Rock N Roll, and a Games Playlist with music and sounds ripped off from CIV III, Privateer, and the wonderful bluegrass sounds of Railroad Tycoon. Some of the first is Movie based rips, and others in concert--both go a while!
Tend to listen to the last when Surveying, the general rock most times on CM and general computing. Occasionally listen to an Oldies FM radio station, but not often any more. Both get paused for occasional Educational TV shows of historical or science topics of interest, and if I bump the radio for any reason it tends to stay off for long weeks of sulking for being ignored. Also have a couple of cuts of Jcitron playing classical pieces--you lot probably don't appreciate he was concert grade good until the Parkinson ripped into that joyful pastime. When he has a good day--when his synapses function normally, I feel guilty for interrupting him with a phone call! Sorry John!
I think I've got at least 25 CDs still in the wrapper since MP3s made it over the internet. The last time I loaded CDs into the 5 CD carosel, was Christmas music since company was coming over. Heck, we don't even enque videos on it much more than twice a year these days! // F
