Hello PJ
I don't think I can help you with your specific problem but I will share a similar experience I had. I placed an Industrial object(PL lumberyard) on a route I was building. It seemed to work okay. Then I began to notice that sometimes I would open the route and the object would not appear but left white circles in its place. I could not delete, move or identify the circles. Since I knew what the object was I deleted the object using CM. When I opened the route again the white circles were still there but I could delete them using Track delete. I decided they were the track remenant of the industrial object.
The object was an older object that I downloaded from the DLS. There was something about that object that TS2010 didn't like. I thought at first that the object had gotten corrupted during TS open or close but now I'm not so sure. It may be TS2010 just couldn't digest the object.
If there is any way you can identify the object you could try my process. The only way I can think of is for someone who has that route installed to identify it for you.
Good luck
Earl
