West Springfield Train Show

I just got back from the Train Show and enjoyed the whole thing.
I also saw the booth with Trainz 2012 running on a big 42" screen with quad speakers and they had one of the biggest crowds at their booth.
I also purchased some Jointed Rail SD 80"MACS. loading them in right now:)
The young fellow running the computer was doing a good job but he was moving around so fast to different locations and engines he was confusing the people watching.
I explained the program to one person and he bought TS 2012 .
So look for another person on the forum.
Now I'm going to run my SD 80'S

Enjoy! It was good to meet you out at the show!

Thanks Yutzk

My pleasure meeting you also.
Great job on these SD80 MACS.
They are up to JR Standards.
Will have to get your computer specs sometime it really was working great. Oh thanks for the extra route on the disk I'm running it right now.

SD80 Comment

I recently purchased some SD80MAC locos from JR. REALLY love them, especially the inside cab views. The site will definately find more of my business when things of interest catch my attention. (I peek in once a week or so.)

It sounds like you guys had a nice time. I missed the show again this year! It's quite the drive for me from the eastern end of the state, and I'm still not feeling 100%.

Was good to see all of those that came out to the show this past weekend. It was again a great show for the Conrail Historical Society and JointedRail and we thank you all for your support. You should also be seeing quite a few new Trainz'ers coming out of that show as there was quite a few people that bought TS12, more than we even expected to be honest!

We'll be back next year at this show as this is on our CANT MISS show list so come see us again in 2013 if you missed us!

Hi Kevin
If you are looking for another Trainz operator to show off trainz and what it can do
Let me know and I can give you hand. I can run anything on trainz like laying track and scenery and route building.
Been using this program since UTC.
I haven't missed the train show in 20 years. Now when can we start seeing those Switchers???:)

I also enjoyed seeing the fellow running the program at the Springfield Train Show. I also had the chance to ask a few questions to the "technical" fellow there. You were doing great!

I wouldve been the technical guy there. I had one of my local G scale clubs son there playing the majority of the time both days and since he wanted to do so I wasnt going to say no! He's pretty good with it too might I add and it gave me a break from playing all day long too.

Switchers should be soon, probably after the Dash 8s get released. We've been testing both as of late!

hello,
I don't have any information about this train show....but I like to watch all train shows....in 2013 I will attend this train show....this is my one of favorite show....A trainload of activities will chug along at full-speed this weekend on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield.
