Well, if your'e going to be in a derailment;

Ed, you have two http's in the link, remove the second one and the last //, worked for me. Also, I didn't expect this, it just came out of the blue like most things. My condolences to the families of the dead.

Thanks, I fixed it! Yes, I'm not trying to make humor at the victims or their family's expense. I'm sure a train derailment is terrifying at any speed, and a death is tragic no matter what the cause. Please forgive me all for my unfortunate choice of words.:(

Even the most advanced high speed trains can't stand up to the collision of two trains. Quite the tragidy.

This is a very sad tragedy, and I feel for the victim's families.

But may I ask, typical of Fox Noise, was the train struck by lightning due to corrupted officials?

I don't know, but MSNBC is reporting that the derailment will be particularly difficult on unwed mothers, women in general, and minorities. Rich white men will profit handsomely though.:o

Exactly.... typical of the controlled news networks. Oh' were they going more than 60mph when the accident happened? Oh my! Trains can really do that!

(Referring back to the post on the rail-crossing accident)!

There is news, then there is the real news. Real news is boring so the news networks, pick a name here, have to make a sensation out of something that would only have 2 lines or less of information on a regular newspaper.

Our local news is no different, and ABC affiliate. I've seen, what might be a good tidbit to savor over, only to have drivel get dragged out on everything but the one thing I'm interested in for over an hour. Then there's that one item, and it's only 10 sec. long, at the closing credits, with absolutely nothing substantial.
