I've been very quiet over the last couple of years or so, but I joined during the days of the Community Edition too. My interests shifted and I've spent many hours and a lot of money on hardware for a Flight Simulator program and just loving flying all over the world.
I still like trainz, but haven't done much with it. I haven't bought 2009 yet mainly because I don't have nay interest to create a route. I lost interest in this aspect with 2006 because I could never find the assets and got tired of hainv to plant every single tree and house. I hate CMP by the way - much prefer the 2004 system from a user perspective.
But I'm watching the boards and looking for a time to jump back in. Too bad my Goflight hardware, and over $1,000 worth of flight controllers don't work on train simulator
Time to fly to Veradero, Cuba.
