Weird problem in Surveyor/Quick Drive

I am testing some track/fixed turnouts etc and set my session rules. I forget to place a loco and go into quick drive. It asks for a consist and I hit escape to get out of driver and back to surveyor. After placing a loco to drive and go into quick drive while saving my session, the driver controls are nowhere to be found.

I am on TRS12 with SP1 and the hotfix installed. Any ideas?

If I am following your directions correctly when I return to driver the second time I am focused on the loco with a driver and DCC controls available. My only guess would be that you need to click on the loco to give it focus. I'm using TS12 SP1 with the second hot fix installed.

Well, I did 2 things that ended up fixing the problem. First, I updated to TS12 SP1 hotfix #2. Second, I exited the game and restarted it. That got my start point back to where I placed the loco with the controls showing up.
