An empty ore train from Escanaba, Mich. to the Minorca taconite mine near Virginia, Minn., is heading west at Argonne on the former Soo Line/Wisconsin Central trackage.





Here we catch him passing Wisconsin Jct with the Shawano Sub that goes south towards Neenah and Fond du Lac

3 of the WC Ubiquitous SD45's lead todays train up Byron Hill...Track crews were working on the other track as this train is running on the wrong main

Nothing to special sitting in the Wausau yard tonight...A461 with 2 SD45's was getting ready to pull north out of town for the night




A friend up in Prentice shot this pic when this train pulled onto the WYE track for the night

TO11 zips across hwy 47/55 north of Shawano, this train has just made a crew change here at Shawano and has a fresh crew to take this train up into Michigan....We also see some local high school kids look at ones cars as they both took a second to admire the train

Back in the day when 2 other RR's ran on this line...The Milwaukee Road from Wausau to New Lisbon where the SOO ran from Chicago towards Minnesota.....

Here we catch 2 of the trains now as the Milwaukee Road waits for 2 SOO SD60's that came out of Chicago

The L3233 makes a stop here at the Shawano Depot before heading north towards Neopit, where these log cars will be set out and the hopper at Gresham

FDGLA is lead by 2 CN C44-9W's as it crosses the Wolf River north of Shawano
