Canadian National train Q198 exits the siding at Junction City with intermodal cars to be dropped off at Hiawatha siding.

This morning got called for train LO11 (Wausau to Prentice)
We start our morning with our train already made up, air tests all done and sitting on the mainline ready to pull north
We start our pull and make our way thru Wausau
Our first stop we have to make is up here in Brokaw to set out 2 CSX boxcars for the mill
Our next stop was Merrill where we had to set out a hopper for the mill
A shot of him heading north out of Tomahawk
Coming into Bradley, we slow to set out an empty pulp wood car
At Prentice, we back our train into the yard
And pull our power up to the WYE track and tie up for the day
We start our morning with our train already made up, air tests all done and sitting on the mainline ready to pull north

Then outside of Mosinee it got a lil heavier
But then coming into Weston....It got really bad out....This is going to be a bad night tonight....Hopefully my cab can make it here to pick me up

Today we got called for train Y09118 the Wausau Switch...Our train today consisted of a ex-SOO LINE GP30 (this feller has been sticking around the area for a while now....She runs like a champ at least...And hey...The heater works great in this bugger) and 10 cars that will be taken south out of Wausau....This train will work between Wausau and Mathy today
We get to the end of the yard where the conductor will hop out and align the switch to come out onto the main to start our way south

Passing one of WC's biggest customers on the line here at Rothschild
Our first stop is Home Depot where we set out a single boxcar

Back out on the main we head towards Mosinee to the paper mill
Making a stop at the mill...We set out a string of boxcars and some coal cars
We then head to Mathy where we will set out one ballast car
Time to run light back to Wausau
Parked by the yard office and time to head in for the day
Yup...Had to get in all the work and get it done before X-Mas....LOL :hehe:

Superb shots WCL!
Tonight took a train down to Rothschild to the paper mill down there and pick up a string of empties to bring back to the yard.....One cool thing about this mill is....There engine that they use to switch out the plant......GO PACK!!!!

Wc sdl 39 series leadin a cut of hopper cars to a local mill
