WC Shotz

Figure I would chime in with a few screenshots. These screen shots are shots I replicated in the sim that I took in real life in late September of 2013.

By the Rhinelander Paper Mill on the main paper mill lead track. I still have to add some trees and scenery in the background.

Train 11 for Gladstone is seen here at Pembine where it will pick up some log cars off the ELS

Here we see train 11 coming into Pembine and soon pull into the siding and cut away from its train and run light back into town to pick up some loaded log cars that are spotted at the mill on the ELS tracks

Pulling into the siding here at Pembine

Now cut away from its train, the power will run light back into town as its about to cross old HWY 141

Now on the connector track the power pulls around past the Pembine Depot

Now shoving the loads back down the ELS main and soon back onto the connector track to couple back onto train 11's cars

Rounding the bend of the connector track

With the train back together, train 11 blasts off and heads east for Gladstone

New photos uploaded. I am currently working on Bradley to Tomahawk. Still a lot of work to do, but the good news is Lake Mohawksin will take up a HUGE portion of the Tomahawk area which eliminates time needed to place buildings and such. So far, I have all the track laid into Tomahawk including the yard and have placed the Tomahawk Railway track just up to the mill, but still need to lay the tracks for the mill and then I am finished with track laying. Next it will be onto textures, scenery, and buildings. Bradley to Rhinelander is pretty much done. Here are 19 new photos of the Tomahawk project...

Here we see the last of the trains that would be running north out of Shawano...Train L3233 seen here at Neopit picks up its last load of logs to take back to Neenah

And the real clipping from a news paper back in the day

CN L551 makes its way north out of Peshtigo as it just crosses over the Peshtigo River and crossing E Front St

This would be where West Somo Avenue ends once they cross the tracks and is the beginning of private property for the warehouse. To the right is a dog park.

North Avenue in Tomahawk where the tracks parallel the road for a block or two.

The end of the propane spur dead ends in the background just past West Somo Avenue. The track used to reconnect to the north end of what used to be the Milwaukee Road. CN has since ripped up those tracks. To the right is just empty space of grass, weeds and dirt now.

This is the end of the spur for the propane/gas dealer for Hilgey's. The spur still crosses the tracks, but I have not seen any propane tankers sit on the north side of the crossing in some time.
