Hello all, I was reading a thread recently about railyards on the DLS, and wondered if you have seen the wonderful one created by mars68 in January 2003 called Englewood, I have been playing on it for the last few years and wanted to post a few pics.
Englewood is a very large classification yard in Houston, Texas. The main body of the yard is 2 and 1/2 miles long and 93 tracks wide. There is also a one mile by 10 track receiving area to the northeast. I'm sure this is the largest yard ever created so far for the DLS, and with the surrounding industries, it's a small but very compact layout, and a joy to practice my switching techniques on....enjoy the screenies.
