Wanting to get Trainz again...

Hello all,

I know this may sound really stupid so I apologize in advance, but I want to know if there is a way to get Trainz back on my computer. I got a new computer in early January as a "late" Christmas present. With the help of my dad, we tried to get all my old files and such off my old hard drive into my new computer. Sadly, most of it (Pictures, digital files, etc) could not copy. There is a very low chance that I will get Trainz 12 back so here is a question I am pondering. Should I wait for the New Era of Trainz to come out (whenever that is) or re-purchase Trainz 12 which in my mind is a bit waste of money but I will do it if necessary. Or if both of those don't sound appealing then try to get Trainz 12 back on my computer. (very low chance) I just need some feedback on what to do and invest my money in right now.

Just wondering. were did you buy TS12?

If you got TS12 as a digital download you can re-download it again for free (unless you already did that 10 times).

@ oknotsen Downloaded it again. Another Question. Can I get my 3rd party content (JR) stuff back? Or more money. I'm fine with that but just wondering. I went through DLC and didn't find anything.

Log into Jointed Rail's website and check your orders. You might be able to download the stuff again. If you downloaded their content via Simulator Central, then you should be able to download it again from there.

You could transfer the HDD from the old comp to the new one. Pretty straightforward operation. If need be, use the cables from the old comp. It would appear as just another drive. Then you could simply drag and drop what you need.
