W.I.P texas fictonal route (part 1)

i have started a fictional/prototypical route of the austin sub, but i can't find any us grade crossings, then again i can't access the dls now that my fct expired,

will have screenshots up soon,

and any help on the crossing will be great thanks.

the route progress is starting at austin ( adding the AWRR yard in downtown where u.p used to have one at) and have the line run prototypical to 2days austin line.

and i have also started on the san antonio portion of the east yard

I got the impresion that you were still able to to download off dls with or without a fct. or you could try content manager. Also, on trainz try XING.

Hey, I live near Austin! This project seems like something that would be cool to run on. So far, I've only got the AWRR and the Georgetown lines. I can't offer much in the terms of pics and info, I rarley go into town(traffic is a nightmare and impossible to work with downtown). Can't wait for pics!

privite thank you, i am using bnsf50's rail crossing, cause much through austin sub are level crossing, in some sections i did add on the xing crossings.

thad09 im out of kyle, tx so the tracks run right through here well the main and kyle siding whihc is now used heaviley for north and southbound meets, plus the locals operations, anyways thanks for your input, and did you do the georgetown lines and awwr lines yourself? or are you talking about the dls ones if it is okay to ask?

an i am in the proccess of uloading pics from mopac siding, were i first decided to lay track, at the moment i had to scratch what i had cause it didnt look really realistic, so i started over and i have track layed here and pics coming

the scenery is dull cause im not the best at that, so i am waiting to attempt that after track is up

Engine94, are you using Maxwerks' terrain maps? They are a good starting point for anything in the Austin area.

No i started fresh with a blank baseboard and am working from there, im wanting to change it around to be modern time, but looking at how difficult it is, i think someof the area will be some wat none prototypical(due to major highways and hard to make scenery)

but i have talked to maxwerks awahile before i started this project to see if his route was modern based, an it was alittle same with the new one on the rrmods site, but i decided to start fresh creating as i go.

I'll bet the mopac/183 interchange is giving you nightmares.

i started with just the siding, at mopac, figured it would be easier to start with that then your right all the skyscraping highways that go over it made it prettyhard.

so i made it back in 1975 with mp trackage their was covered with trees, but im going to update it soon.
