Video Question

I run Trainz windowed at 1024 x 768 while using FRAPS (free version) to capture video.

I edit the vid in Win MovieMaker and save at 640 x 480.

Both the captures and the final product are therefore 4:3 but in the final product the image is 'squished'. The trains are visibly short and fat head on and way stretched when the camera was side-on.

I have tweaked every setting I can find, but can't fix it. What am I missing....

Reducing the resolution in Movie Maker effectively makes things larger - that may be the problem.

Oops - my bad! Nothing wrong with FRAPS or MovieMaker, a WinAmp video playback setting was forcing it to 5:4 - fixed!!!
