VIA Train/CN Freight train Derailment

To be honest, I don't see what the big deal is. These kinds of things happen sometimes. It was hardly a major incident, so there isn't much to discuss.

Don't worry, but this thread has a few...oh, what is it called? *sniffs* Érmmmmm, waffles:cool:

P.S. Do not ask me how I got the É in there. That is my secret.

A derailment happened in Halifax a few weeks ago, but trains are always coming off the tracks. It happens, but if its minor, nobody cares

True. However, that derailment actually involved a VIA train. Sure, it was empty at the time, but it was still something unusual and noteworthy. As for this one, I'm afraid I really don't get what the big deal is. Perhaps the original poster could explain why he feels it was so noteworthy. Also, the title of this thread is a little misleading.

I hope there won't be threads popping up each and every time CN has a minor derailment. This forum couldn't handle that sort of overload. :)

Go into word, click insert symbols, select the e with the accent. Copy and paste into the forum message, not that hard. ;)

I agree, this was hardly a major derailment, which makes it difficult to discuss.
