Using less electricity

As we go into winter Europe and the UK look as if electricity will be in short supply.

Probably the most efficient hardware would be a laptop with Intel Iris XE CPU and that doesn't have a lot of power weighing in with a score of 2740 on passmark 3D benchmark.

Any suggestions for routes / layouts that are less demanding? Which sliders can be set back for maximum impact on the electric bill? Is TANE, TRS2019, or TS22 more efficient?

A good trick to recharge a laptop battery -- go to a library or other public place and do it there.

Maybe the Ticket to Ride board game? Other than that, I think the leanest and meanest install you can manage. The more routes and assets, the harder the database seems to work, and that is what cranks my cooling fans and CPU. A base install with existing purchased DLCs, and maybe avoid all the extras for the winter.
