This is a great Layout and well implemented.
I am used to building and operating transition era (1950's) layouts so the lack of Runaround tracks is a challenge that I look forward to.
Is this a Lance Mindheim plan?
I have not yet read any of his books but have been intrigued by his writings in Model Railroader Magazine and this track plan would certainly suit his operating style.
Any background information you can provide would be a great asset in learning how to do modern operations.
