The sugar beat train was one of the worst smelling trains when it went by. I used to see it almost every 2 or 3 days when it went by Glendale, California when I was younger and I used hold my nose when the train went by as it smelled badly

Some post merger (modern era) shots from Soldier Summit.

BNSF trackage rights train MPVDVJ (Provo - Denver) rolls by Detour, notching up for the 2% grade all the way up to summit.

Still goin' strong: DRGW tunnelmotors 5350 & 5345 shoving hard on the rear.

Between Detour and Gilluly.

The tracks can be seen at three levels here at the upper Gilluly horseshoe.

SD70MAC, B40-8W and SD40-2. Not your everyday manifest lashup...

Finally at Soldier Summit. 40 minutes and 15 miles from Detour. The helpers will be cut off and returned to Castilla.

Dropping down the grade at Kyune, UT.
I found the B40-8W to be a bit ill- tempered, as it kept wheelsliping in dynamic brake mode...

By the way, have anyone been experiencing problems with the route merge function in TS12? Any attempt at merging my route causes the game to crash. (I was trying to extend the DEM map)
