need help here! Polease...
Working on this route, most with farmland. I know as a kid I used to watch for hours crop dusters. Im adding a small little airport in just for that but having trouble finding
1) cropduster airplane
2) windsock
3) lights
Done a search on DLS but to no avail...anyone know where some items would be of such nature..or perhaps sommething I could kitbash...TY in advance

Hi Koondawg,
I might be able to help answer your questions:
1) couldn't find a cropduster myself but you could substitute a sopwith or an auster (type both of those names into the DLS). Make sure you have 04 checked.
2) windsock? Try this: 262137:10398 (make sure you have 04 checked)
3) look under the username MINITRIX. He made some great airport stuff...

Howdy KD,
When you say lights, do ya mean runway stuff, 'cos there is lots of runway assets including lights on the DLS, have all the boxes ticked when you search.....There's lots of other lights as well, yardlights turned up quite a few kuid numbers as well.
I cannot remember ever seeing a cropduster, but, there is a windsock somewhere, but, cannot remember which website it was....Ya'know if you go into the Google language bar and type in windsock and then go through the translated names it throws up in French, German, Czech, Spanish, Polish, etc, etc, then type that word into the DLS it might throw something up. You could also go onto one or two websites as well with the same word and see if anything appears. The Czech translation, for example, for windsock is Větrný pytel - see if that pops up on any searches......
Looking at your farmland screenshots, I also wondered if you'd seen the website for ROLTRAINZ in Hungary, he's got some fabulous farm buildings, vehicles and scenery items like bales of hay, etc.....Check it out, it might throw up something interesting you could utilise....http://www.roltrainz.hu/

There also is a few good planes by bdneal on the DLS. (747s, 727s, 737s, MD-11, and MD-80)

If I remember correctly, Leeferr made a wind sock.
There are also some nice pieces of construction equipment on the DLS, but I don't see where they have any connection to crop dusting!
Those aircraft you mention must be dusting one hell of a crop!:hehe:
