Epo, I notice there are cattle stops on both sides of the grade crossing. Is it supposed to represent something in real life? Also, is the double-trailer semi custom traffic or static object? I'd hate to see the thing turn on a 90 deg curve. :hehe:

Nicky the cattle grids are an Australian feature. I always sneak something from down-under into my USA routes - congrats, you are the first to pick me up on it! Speaking of things Australian (and I don't want to get into a mine-is-bigger-than-yours debate) but in the northern half of Oz we have road trains which have four trailers- twice the length of Epo's...

G'day Dermmy, I never knew you were Australian, judging by the route you so skilfully crafted.

Anyway, I was just curious how the truck would navigate a turn in Trainz, which unless articulated, will have the front and rear ends jutting out in a very hideous manner. I understand the legal limit for road trains in Australia is 4 trailers?

Dermmy Is correct, But Cattle Guards aren't always used just in the Big Down Under. Most commonly, they are used on Single track lines, where a railroad line intersects with a Farmer's Cattle pasture. They are lined with sharp, metal spikes on a plate, designed to keep the cattle from escaping their pasture.
