The 4-10-2s were tried on Donner but the wheel base was too long for the corners. The Cab forwards were designed for Donner Pass. See here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cab_forward

I'm going to take a wild guess and say no, they never did. But I think some had Russian Iron boiler jackets and red cab roofs.

My cab forwards are from http://paulztrainz.myenet.info/ and since the one that Phil released was an AC11 I requested Paul number mine for the AC10 range. The AC3s are there too and he also has some AM2s that are on my shopping list. He has some interesting stuff!

I prefer Sherman Hill at dawn in T:ANE! 844 deadheading out of Cheyenne.



Actually I have not had a chance to run Donner Winter yet. On my very short list of things to do.

The nearer 5 in the first pic are by mcguirel and I'm not sure about the others. Note the observation car and sleeper in the last shot. (Vulcan I think)
