That makes me feel so hot, dry and thirsty. I expect to see Bear Grills ('Man versus Wild') eating a scorpion somewhere amongst those saltbushes...:)

Making that picture my screen wallpaper for this week.

Oh my, Joe. If only that lovely *photo* was bigger I'd have it as wallpaper too!
-Thanks guys, glad you like the beta stages of textures, veggies, etc. The pic was bigger but I re-size all of them for posting here.

I thought we all had an agreement that we weren't posting anymore real shots...... never been a big fan of the ponies but those shots are insane.

That's a lovely screenshot, very photographic, or, should that be photogenic......:hehe:

Appreciate the kind words! Been awhile since I've really taken on building a route, and I'm really enjoying TS12 now that I've moved on over.

Awesome shots! I'm sure it's been addressed but what area are you working on here?

I also have a question, do you ever plan on releasing any of your routes if and when they get finished?

Working with fishlips' DEM of Norton, VA to Bluefield, WV. So far, I've gotten major trackage of Norton's yard, and of a small radius of the surrounding area. And about releasing a route, that comes muuuuch later in the process, can't say if it will be released or not.

Haven't done much, but have some of the scenery in place. Just have to work on getting the town populated.

Wow, I didnt know that there was another user interested in the Bluefield Area, Keep it up. I made some objects for the route too but didnt finished them at all

Also, the other day, searching for trains from NY to bluefield or the VW area I came to not find any Amtrak train to Bluefield by now, and it is near of Washington DC. So what would be the best way to go from Washington DC to bluefield, for example, taking the train first to the nearest station then going to Bluefield by bus??

Greetings

Looks very nice! If you ever release any of it, I'd love to use it!

And That I'm not too sure on driving conditions for each way, but a bit of research shows amtrak trains run to both nearby towns of Lynchburg, VA, and Charleston, WV. Google maps shows Bluefield to be closest to Charleston, and I've driven that route before, and it's mostly highways, and should take you there the fastest. As for Lynchburg, I'm not too sure on the roads between, or what Amtrak train's route goes through it, but I can tell you Amtrak's "Cardinal" (P050) can take you from DC to Charleston, and a drive/bus ride from there can take you to Bluefield.
