Southbound in the southland. WIP route and reskins of the Charlston & Western Carolina Geeps heading south for Port Royal, SC. They cross the diamonds in Yemassee passing other C&WC RR Geeps working in Yemasee Yard.

These are reskins of VMD's GP7s.

@ Eric - beautiful pics, though I'm very sure the loco hasn't been reskinned - what's the problem??? :)

I placed RED's black tank and grey trailer side-by-side in a weedy overgrown area under the other version of that 'light old' just yesterday - when you consider the huge number of alternative assets either of us could have used it's uncanny! And I have to ask the origin of that open-door grounded container - great touch - though I suspect the 'door' might be staged!

Thank you Andy :).

Well, the MP15 switcher is actually a wheatered repaint on USLW's loco CSX MP15 http://www.uslw.net/index.php/contacts/locomotives?start=5.
The container is a Google Sketchup model as I have imported.

Regarding all the assets, maybe we have the same taste for what works well when it comes to "decorate landscapes", hehe.

I hate to be the one to point this out, but it is "Canadian". Nice paint job otherwise though!

Nope! French spelling. Some box cars have CanadiAn, some have CanadiEn. I suspect it is alternate spelling in either side of every car, but not certain on that...

Aye, French people use simple logic, when you think of the word Canadian, the A sounds like an E, so instead of doing it the English spelling way, they put an E in place of the A..

I am sure there is a bit more to it than that, but that is the most likely simple explanation..

With the way the rest of their language is completely illogical (no offense meant to the French, of course - this is coming from a guy who's own language is pretty crazy!), I doubt it's that simple. :D

Some shots from Sherman.
