So cool Kimo :D love the bridge shot especially, although I still recommend using a shadow spline underneath. Can i ask where the bridge itself came from? The second sky works best in my opinion. Is this still on that model railroad layout you were working on?

Yes, I added extra scenery and baseboards on some of the scenes for depth, but the actual route doesn't have quite that much scenery. The bridge is SAM VS Viaduct on the DLS, guardrails not included. I used guard Pipe 01 for that. Built-in TS12.

May I ask where you got the George-Fisher-AASHTO-esque 4 lane road with a center turn lane in your first shot? I've been looking all over for one of those to match the rest of the AASHTO roads. Are there intersections to go with it?

A little something refreshing and cool, on a hot July day...

NEW Locomotive ?

Here's a shot form my WIP route. A CSX auto rack rolls by the interchange where the days cut of cars wait to get picked up and sent off to it.

NEW Locomotive ?
Was Supposed to be,... maybe,.... some day,....

I think thats just a reskin of VMD Payware B40-8. But I could be wrong.
Yup,.. you're correct. There's also a quality version I did almost a year ago for VMD. The mesh just needed tweaking with all the Conrail gear. Not sure what happened, or if they're still an on going project or not. Kinda tired of hiding them though...

Wouldn't that cr loco be an ex Monongahela RR locomotive ray?

Hi Justin, Happy 4th to ya.

No, The Mon-units were Super 7 series GE's (predecessor to the -8 series GE. CR bought 30 B40-8 from GE in the late 1980's for high speed trailvan at the time. :)

unfortunately, there aren't any US style turning lanes available. I used 4 different AASHTO roads, invisible spline, yellow and white line splines to make these turning lanes.

@Dermmy
PERFECT!

I honestly missed the first line of your post and thought EXACTLY Pelle Soeborg, then spent 10 minute googling his name to get the spelling right. Love your screenshots!!!!!

I wasn't sure if anyone knew what I was talking about, but I like his eye for detail.

Which line splines did you use to fill in where the AASHTO roads could not? I've done something like this before with the AASHTO roads to make a center turn lane, but yours looks so much better than what I've been doing. In fact, your whole route looks tons better than what I've been doing.

Speaking of, here's some recent shots on my current WIP:

Anybody that didn't notice the War Baby GS-4 in my last round of shots most certainly will now...!

your route looks great. Everyone has their own way of doing things. I think I put too much stuff in my routes, my computer cant handle all that detail, which is why they never get finished. Anyway.... Here ya go.

1.Yellow line single DLS
2.Yellow line double DLS
3.White line unbroken Built-in 12/DLS
